FitWoW ("FitWoW", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-assisted fitness training application that helps users plan workouts, record exercise sessions, upload training video segments, receive AI-generated workout analysis, view reports, and manage subscriptions or workout credits.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using FitWoW, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

Sign-in information from Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, such as a user identifier, email address (or relayed email), display name, and profile photo where provided.
Authentication identifiers, such as Firebase user ID, app session tokens, and related login status information.
Profile information you choose to provide, such as an avatar image uploaded or captured through the app.

Workout, fitness, and report information

Workout configuration, including selected exercises, exercise order, sets, target reps, target duration, rest timing, and workout start or completion status.
Training session data, including exercise names, recorded reps, set progress, elapsed time, interruptions, upload status, and generated report data.
AI-generated analysis, including form feedback, performance summaries, report metrics, and report feedback you submit.

Camera, video, and visual information

Camera access is used for device leveling, system checks, avatar photo capture, and recording your workout after you start a training session.
Training video segments may include your body, surroundings, and exercise movements. These segments are used to provide workout analysis and report playback features.
FitWoW does not request microphone permission and does not intentionally record audio during workout recording.
FitWoW does not use face recognition to identify you, does not create biometric face templates, and does not sell face or biometric data.

Purchase and entitlement information

Subscription and one-time purchase information from Apple App Store In-App Purchases, such as product identifier, transaction identifier, original transaction identifier, purchase or renewal status, and entitlement balance.
We do not collect or store your payment card number. Payment processing is handled by Apple.

Device, app, and usage information

Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, network status, and diagnostic data needed to operate the service.
Usage events and analytics, such as screens viewed, button taps, feature usage, workout flow events, and subscription screen interactions. We may use Firebase Analytics or similar service providers to process this data.
Upload status data used to keep video uploads running reliably in the background.

Support and chat information

Messages, feedback, and support requests you submit through support, feedback, or AI chat features.
Recent chat messages may be stored locally on your device to improve continuity of the chat experience.

2. Permissions We Use

Camera: used for avatar photo capture, device leveling, system checks, and workout video recording.
Photo Library (Add Only): used to save report or share images to your photo library when you explicitly choose to do so.
Network access: used for login, app configuration, workout creation, video upload, reports, subscriptions, support, and analytics.
Apple In-App Purchases: used to offer, restore, verify, and manage subscriptions or workout-credit purchases.

FitWoW does not request access to your location, contacts, calendar, microphone, or HealthKit data in the current iOS app.

3. How We Use Information

To create and secure your account, keep you signed in, and prevent unauthorized access.
To create workouts, record training sessions, upload workout videos, generate AI analysis, and display reports.
To process subscriptions, purchases, credit balances, refunds, entitlement checks, and purchase restoration through the Apple App Store.
To provide customer support, feedback handling, and AI chat features.
To maintain service reliability, debug issues, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and improve app performance.
To measure feature usage and improve the app experience.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described below:

Service providers: with vendors that help us provide authentication, hosting, database, storage, analytics, billing verification, video upload, and AI analysis services. These providers process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it.
Apple services: with Apple for Sign in with Apple authentication, App Store In-App Purchase processing, subscription management, refund handling, and entitlement verification.
Google services: with Google Firebase for authentication and crash reporting, and with Google for Google Sign-In where you choose that option.
AI analysis providers: workout videos, exercise metadata, and related context may be processed by AI service providers, including Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini models), to generate workout analysis and coaching feedback.
User-directed sharing: when you choose to share report images, workout results, or other content to third-party apps, the information is shared according to your action and the third party's privacy practices.
Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, court order, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, FitWoW, or others.
Business transfers: if FitWoW is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Account, workout, purchase entitlement, and report data are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Workout video segments may be stored locally on your device and may be uploaded to our servers for analysis. Local video files may remain on your device until you delete related workout data, delete the app, or the app performs local cleanup.
Support and chat messages are retained as needed to provide support, keep recent conversation context, improve the service, and meet legal or operational requirements.
You can request deletion by using the in-app Account Management > Delete Account option, or by contacting us at the email below. Deleting your account is intended to permanently delete your account and associated data, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or backup reasons.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted network transmission where supported, access controls, and limited access to systems that process personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

FitWoW is not directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Your Choices

You can control camera and notification permissions in the iOS Settings app.
You can choose not to start a workout recording or not to upload optional profile images.
You can sign out or delete your account from Account Management in the app.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in App Store settings on your device.
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or additional information about your personal data, subject to applicable law.

9. International Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries or regions other than where you live. When we transfer information, we use safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and make the revised policy available through the app and/or our public policy URL.
